Democrats Rally to Close Ammunition Plant in Bold Move Against Mass Shootings

The 28 Republican Attorneys-General responded with a letter sent to the Biden administration to counteract the claims made by Democrats during their initial overture to the White House.

The Democrat Attorneys-General have sent you a request for an investigation of Lake City. They claim that commercial ammunition manufactured by the facility was used in mass murders.

According to the letter, if you follow the request of the Democratic Attorneys Generals, the prices and availability of ammunition will increase.

Democrats are trying to limit ammunition availability, which will affect the right to bear arms of all Americans. It will increase the vulnerability of people to violent criminals.

Closing the plant would have a huge economic impact on the city. According to this letter, between 500 and 700 jobs would be lost. This letter estimates that many residents will lose their jobs should the plant close.

The Republican AGs point out that the Defense Department has a contract with the facility for support of military readiness. Closing the facility could therefore hinder the effectiveness and efficiency of the United States Military.

It is nonsense to claim that taxpayers are subsidizing mass shooters. This causality is reversed. Gun owners who follow the law and purchase Lake City ammunition, subsidize the national defense. Lake City doesn’t produce all commercially available ammo.

The Democrats have shown they are willing to collude with foreign governments to sue American firearm manufacturers.

A letter to one of the most anti-gun presidents in history won’t stop the campaign. However, it could be the start of legal battles if the White House decides to take action against Lake City.
