JEAN-PIERRE: I’ll say that our deepest sympathies go out and our heartfelt sympathy goes out to the families of three brave military personnel, uhm, who were always fighting for this administration, the American people.

Jean-Pierre, her supporters, and all those who have complained behind the scenes about her unfair treatment are just plain wrong. She is objectively terrible at her job. It doesn’t help that she is marginally better when reading from a binder.
How do you begin to decipher that excerpt? It’s like Jean-Pierre took speaking lessons from Kamala Harris. As she stumbles to deliver the canned line, her inauthenticity and lack of actual care oozes through. The Biden administration screams of cynicism, self-promotion, and a lack of care.
These three soldiers didn’t fight “on behalf of this administration.” She quickly corrected herself, saying that they were fighting for the United States of America. While they may hold a position in the chain, military members do not fight for the president. It’s telling that Jean-Pierre had this first thought. The Biden administration views everyone as subordinate to its goals. They thought that the Biden patrol would arrest Texas National Guard soldiers who dared to attempt to secure the border.
What must Jean-Pierre do to be fired? Kirby has already replaced her in part, and when Jean-Pierre still shows up to answer questions it becomes a slow-motion disaster. Get rid of her and find someone else who is capable. Jen Psaki may have been dishonest but she at least knew how to answer.
