Donald Trump appears to have lost all contact with his former Press secretary Kayleigh McEnany.
McEnany seemed to be angry with Trump for criticizing his use of the New Hampshire victory speech in attacking Nikki Haley as his final opponent.
McEnany said on Fox News, “This speech was to get rid of the last competitor.” “She’s still behind him. He is pulling in the majority of supporters to stop her from continuing the race.”
Haley’s remarks come after Trump won New Hampshire’s primary by a margin greater than 10 points. It means that there is no real threat to Trump’s hold on the Republican nomination.
“I would suggest that you adopt a more general election tone at this stage. Here’s why. Joe Biden’s night was pretty successful. Only 10% said they wouldn’t vote for him as nominee.
McEnany provided data that may be worrying about Trump’s chances of winning the general election if he does not unite the Republican Party.
According to a Des Moines Register poll, 43% of respondents indicated that they wouldn’t vote for Trump.
If I was Trump, I’d sit back and concentrate exclusively on the general election. I’d focus on uniting the Party and winning Independents. Nikki Haley achieved this with 55-39% of votes. I would follow her example.
He is the presumed nominee.
Trump, as was expected, did not take her advice seriously.
He wrote, “I don’t need any advice from RINO Kayleigh McEnany on Fox. “I had a GIANT WIN against a candidate that was failing badly. “Birdbrain”, and she tells me how I can get better. “Save your advice to Nikki!” ”
Trump’s comments reflect his growing hostility towards Fox. He hasn’t forgiven them since their antics on the night of the 2020 presidential election.
He posted another message. “CNN, MSDNC, and Fox treated my double-digit win over Birdbrain better than Fox!” ”
Trump is not the only person to criticize his former White House Press secretary, who was a popular figure during his administration. She fought the liberal media behind the White House Press Room podium.
He wrote that “Kayleigh “Milktoast” McEnany gave wrong poll results on FoxNews” at the time she spoke about Ron DeSantis being the apparent primary candidate. ” FoxNews needs REAL stars! !! ”
McEnany will not return to her former role if Trump is re-elected to the White House.
