Joe Biden is returning to the border for only the second time in his life on Thursday.
Why is it that he has only now gotten to this?
After three years of letting chaos rule, Biden is now trying to act like he cares, and blaming Republicans.
Donald Trump, the former President of the United States is also leaving.
Border security has always been a top priority for Texans. Voters have embraced the Republican policies of Governor Greg Abbott’s plan for installing barriers along the Rio Grande, such as concertina wire and buoys.
Trump’s campaign spokesperson said that Biden’s visit “shows how big a problem he is”.
Trump’s visit to Eagle Pass was announced last week while Biden’s just announced.
Biden wants to pass the border bill he has been pushing for. Republicans are against it because they don’t believe it will increase border security. The bill codifies an influx of thousands per day.
A local reporter, who called a prior visit “a dog-and-pony show”, will likely make a similar attempt to tick the box saying “I care”.
Biden’s actions at the beginning of his term have only worsened the situation.
Border Patrol Union has smashed Biden’s propaganda by pointing to the person responsible for this crisis.
“Unfortunately, a visit by President Biden three years into his term and after repeatedly stating there is no crisis is too little, too late. Whether stating it himself or through WH Press Secretary Karine Jean Pierre, Biden has said he’s done everything he can to secure the border. If that was the truth, and it wasn’t, there would be no point in visiting the border now. But even if he were to put the proper policies in place at this late hour, he’d be doing it only to try to save his Presidency. And self-serving actions when time is winding down should always give Americans pause. Common sense dictates that as a lame duck, he’d revert to his open border policies if re-elected. Biden is going to the border now solely to try to save himself. Border security should never be about politics, it should always be about the safety and security of this great nation and the American people.”
