I am always amazed at how ignorant so many leftists are about guns. Many of these same people continue to talk about guns despite their total ignorance. They are always referring to AR-15s, even the ordinary ones, as automatics, machine guns, or other nonsense. They never consider that if there’s a problem, it is not the gun but the person who is behind it. It’s always the gun’s fault, and they should be banned.
You would expect that if you were on the Supreme Court you would know more, especially if you are going to be deciding a gun case, and that you wouldn’t make idiotic remarks. That might be too much to ask. On Wednesday, some of the government lawyers and justices showed a real lack of knowledge about guns during the oral argument in the Garland V. Cargill case.
In January, I wrote about how Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson posed some very intelligent queries about the Colorado Trump Ballot Case and whether or not the officer provision under the 14th Amendment applied to former president Donald Trump. I began to wonder if I was wrong about my opinion of her.
On Wednesday, the momentary sanity she displayed in the ballot box was gone, and she returned to her old ways. The woman who refused, because she wasn’t a biologist, to say what a woman is was once again in full force. Jackson and a government lawyer made some really silly remarks about bump stock.
The government says that bump stocks allow you to shoot 600 times a second

The government claimed that bump stocks allow you to shoot 600 shots per second.
Justice Jackson then made it worse by saying they could let you shoot 800 times per second.
Justice Jackson says guns with bump stocks can fire 800 rounds a second

You can hear it twice. She also adds a “whatever” to show that she isn’t concerned about what she says.
And with the obnoxious valley girl “WHAT EVER” Jackson shows her disdain for our CONSTITUTION and for KNOWING anything about the topic at hand.
Twice, she says that bump stocks shoot 800 rounds/sec.
And NO ONE corrects her.
Does she even know what a woman is yet?

She had another difficulty with understanding.
Justice Jackson says the trigger is only pulled once when firing with a bump stock. Cargill says that’s incorrect; the trigger needs to be pulled every time the gun fires

It is funny and sad all at once. You should at least have a basic understanding of the subject matter before you make any decisions that are so important. This will help you sound more intelligent when you ask questions. If you don’t understand what you’re talking about, you might not want to be involved in such decisions.
