Outrageous Act: Climate Criminals Deface U.S. Constitution Display with Red Powder

On Wednesday, climate cultists entered the National Archives and dumped red powder onto the display case containing the U.S. Constitution.

Why? This part is a little hazy. They complained about white men being in charge and that there were no fossil fuels.

The National Archives guards were interested in the performance but they had to wait until the D.C. Police arrived before the kids stopped making a complete mess of themselves.

The caption above the case would have identified the document as being a copy if the two nuts had stopped smoking pot. The real Constitution is safely tucked away in the Archives several dozen yards below, far from sunlight or other pollutants that might damage it.

In a press release, Dr. Colleen Schogan, Archivist for the United States said that the National Archives Rotunda was the home of our nation’s founding papers. They are available for viewing and understanding by all Americans. We will prosecute the vandals to the fullest extent possible.

CNN:

The incident is part of a larger trend of vandalism that aims to bring attention to environmental problems and climate change.

Just Stop Oil activists in the UK have aimed at iconic works of art. In one of their most public protests in 2022, they threw tomato soup on Vincent van Gogh’s “Sunflowers”, a painting by the French Impressionist Claude Monet, at a London Gallery. In 2023, they smeared paint on the glass and then glued it to a painting of Claude Monet’s “The Artist’s Garden at Giverny” on display at Stockholm’s National Museum.

Experts have told CNN that while such acts can be effective in gaining public attention, they can also draw significant criticism and cause a backlash against their cause.

Michael Savage, a radio host, once stated that “Liberalism was a mental illness.” Truth be told, conservatives don’t seem any smarter. There are no conservatives that I know of who would destroy the Mona Lisa for a political cause.

This is bat-guano madness, especially because vandalism of this kind makes people angry. You will not get any agreement from angry people.
