Hungary’s Bold Challenge to Western Hypocrisy on Christian Persecution

Western media continues to portray Hungary as lacking in compassion. Hungary, unlike most Western nations, refuses to accept Muslim migrants (and they suffer).

According to one report:

The right-wing government of Hungary condemned the West for downplaying persecution of Christians in Africa after Islamists had killed and injured many Christians Sunday. The list included a pastor.

Tristan Azbej, the State Secretary of Hungary’s Foreign Ministry. He called on politicians in the West to “stop their denial “.

Western leaders and media have added climate change to their list to excuse the Muslim persecution of Christians. The other reasons, such as “economics”, “grievances”, etc. have been exhausted.

On Pentecost in 2022, when Muslims murdered 50 Christians peacefully praying inside their church. Ireland’s president Michael Higgins condemned climate change and not Muslim violence. Others have done the same thing.

Around 20,000 churches and Christian schools were also set ablaze by Muslims yelling “Allahu akbar”.

The Christian Association of Nigeria questioned: “How can it be a [secular] war when one group (Muslims), is constantly attacking and killing Christians while the other (Christians) are continually being killed, maimed and their places of worship destroyed? ”

Tristan Azbej is a Hungarian criticizing the Western world’s indifference. He pointed out that the priest had been burned alive. Azbej said that condolences were not enough and that the international community should take proactive measures.

The Biden Administration, which may be the most hypocritical example, has gone beyond “denying” that Christians are being killed in Nigeria. In late 2021, the Biden State Department removed Nigeria from their list.

Sean Nelson of the Alliance Defending Freedom noted:

Removing Nigeria from the list as a Country of Particular Concern will only empower Nigeria’s government to become even more authoritarian.

John Eibner put it simply:

If it means anything, the State Department de-listing a country where thousands of Christians are killed every year is a sign of Washington’s priorities …. This removal of this symbol shows Washington’s true intentions in West Africa, by forming a relationship with Nigeria’s elite forces of security at the cost and suffering of Christians, as well as victims of sectarian conflict …. Nigeria would be included on the U.S. CPC List. This is a very open question.

In the current situation, jihads of genocidal proportions are being waged across the globe – Nigeria and Armenia could be added – while the American government and media deflected the problem by blaming “climate change” and pretending that the real humanitarian issue was that nations such as Hungary didn’t want and suffered Muslim migrants in the same way the rest of Europe.
