South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem posted a video that raises eyebrows. It looks like a commercial for a Texax dental practice where she mentions that she has had dental work.
Noem said in the video that she had “knocked” out her front teeth. She stated that she was “amazed” at how flexible the team was in accommodating her schedule.
Noem is widely considered as a candidate that former President Donald Trump could choose as his running mate in 2024.
I love my new Smile Texas family! Noem shared the video on Facebook, saying that it was a powerful video and she was grateful for their assistance in fixing her smile.
Below is the video that caused a lot of confusion:
Andy Ngo tweeted the post of the governor and asked “Why does a governor do an influencer advertisement for a dental practice?”
T. Becket Adams asked, “What is this?” “A sitting governor cutting an advertisement for a dental office?”
Nate Hochman tweeted, “This is a very bizarre thing for a Governor to do.” He added, in another tweet: “Why is South Dakota’s sitting Governor doing infomercials about dentists?”
John Cardillo, a Twitter user, tweeted: “So strange but so on brand this cycle.”
