Tom Cotton’s Triumph: Hochul Calls in National Guard, Cotton’s Crime Plan Prevails in Big Apple

Sen. Tom Cotton’s (R-Ark) absolute insanity was the result of his words. Cotton wrote an op-ed in the NY Times in the days leading up to the George Floyd riots of 2020. Cotton argued, in an infamous way, that the only solution to the violence that was occurring in Democrat (over)run cities after Floyd’s murder was for Donald Trump to invoke the Insurrection Act.

We reported that the article was a major faux flag for the Woke Times. As we later learned, the behind-the-scenes eruptions took place well before the article was published.

The article was published and some reporters took to Twitter to claim, without any evidence, that Cotton’s argument had put their black co-workers “in danger”. A “sick out” was staged as a protest because words were deemed to be violent. James Bennet was fired as the editor of their editorial page.

We are now almost four years into the New York Governor’s term. Kathy Hochul has finally acknowledged that violent crime is a problem in parts of New York, particularly the Big Apple. Her response?

Calling in the National Guard is time.

Who were the first to report this? The NY Times:

The following is their article:

Gov. Kathy Hochul announced on Wednesday she will deploy National Guard soldiers to New York City’s subway system where they can patrol the platforms and check bags.

Ms. Hochul stated that a big show of force on the system operated by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (a state agency) would make commuters feel safer and visitors to the City more secure.

The addition of law enforcement officers will add to the already high presence in the metro, where Mayor Eric Adams has ordered 1,000 additional officers in February after a 45 percent increase in major crimes in comparison with January last year.

Tom Cotton’s amusement was understandable:

It was also speculated that Times employees might stage further tantrums due to feeling “unsafe”.

We send our thoughts and prayers to the NYT Staff during this difficult time.
