Donald Trump surprised a Chick-fil-A in Atlanta last week. Trump was greeted enthusiastically by a mostly black crowd and ordered milkshakes for everyone. A photo of Trump being hugged by a black woman went viral.
Leo Terrell, a civil rights lawyer, told Fox News that the photo of a black woman posing with President Trump was a nightmare. “They are spreading a false narrative that Trump is a racist and black people dislike Trump. You have seen this photograph?” This photo shows that the left-wing press is not portraying what they are.
The Biden campaign was forced to react, so they sent him with Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker to a Wawa. CBS News reported that Biden had ordered an Italian hoagie classic size with American cheese, and a milkshake in black-white from the Delaware County convenience store which recently celebrated its 60th birthday.
You know he is a regular person.
The stop was a bust. The video from the visit revealed that Biden’s only supporters were the journalists covering the event. What was even funnier is that Biden struggled with his takeout container before asking one of the handlers to get it so he could have a milkshake.
It’s even worse than it seems, especially when compared with Trump’s Chick-fil-A visit from last week. Biden’s Wawa visit was planned down to the last detail. The cashier’s tip had been planned.
Biden had previously failed to compete against another Trump visit. The Biden campaign attempted to recreate the enthusiasm and energy of Trump’s Harlem bodega visit by visiting a Sheetz in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday. It didn’t go well.
Someone at the Biden Campaign should have realized that it was time to stop trying so hard to duplicate the energy and enthusiasm surrounding Trump and his campaign. Biden cannot get liberal strongholds excited, but Trump can.
