The handlers of Joe Biden are concerned that he will suffer “psychological torture.” This is the story that Politico reported after several staffers said his mental health could be in danger if his son goes to prison.
Hunter Biden will be tried on 3rd June in Delaware for gun charges. After that, he’ll also be facing a federal court jury for tax evasion. Early in May, the president’s child suffered a major setback after a Delaware judge rejected his request to delay proceedings.
Biden is reportedly angry and upset about this, while staffers avoid the topic for fear of being reprimanded.

Some fear that, despite the White House’s insistence that it will not be involved, the special counsel David Weiss could have a dramatic impact on the president, both psychologically and politically.
Three advisors who were granted anonymity to discuss private discussions said that they and the First Family are concerned about the impact of Hunter Biden’s trial on President Obama at a time when he is already facing a difficult political situation. Biden expressed to them his fears that his son could serve prison time.
One of the three advisors said, “He worries every day about Hunter from the time he gets up until the time he goes home.” “That’s something that will only come out during a court trial.”
On one hand, I can understand why a father might worry about his child, even if that son is a corrupt scumbag accused of abusing women. Joe Biden is not being forced to run for president. If all of this is too much for him, as it appears to be, he can retire to any one of his many mansions with the millions he earned from being a politician.
Do I have to show empathy for President Obama’s plight, even though he has been guilty of self-inflicting much of his problems by coddling and making excuses for a son whose needs were not met until after he committed federal offenses? It’s nonsense to think that the president has no choice but to suffer in silence under the weight of his position. Joe Biden can live in Rehoboth Beach permanently if he wants to. He could attend Hunter Biden’s trial as a show of support.
Does this sound to you like someone who wants to keep his job?
There is some hesitation among the team of the president about how to handle the situation. Two people who are familiar with the reactions of the president said that, with few exceptions, the White House staff does not bring up Hunter Biden when speaking to the president for fear of an angry response or an icy stare. They all spoke on the condition of anonymity about the personal aspects of the presidency.
Joe Biden has a history of anger issues, so it’s no surprise that his staff is afraid to discuss the topic. One would think that a president currently losing his reelection bid would realize the importance of having a coherent strategy. If he is so mentally broken, he should not be president. The results speak for themselves.
Hunter Biden is a criminal who deserves to be sent to prison. Joe Biden should step down if that is too much pressure for him. It’s not expected that anyone will feel sorry for them.
