Shockwaves in Florida: Rapper Sean Kingston Nabbed in Dramatic Mansion Raid

Sean Kingston, a Florida resident who was the subject of a raid on his Florida mansion that day, was arrested Thursday in California.

Carey Codd, Public Information Officer, stated that “this evening, Fort Irwin police arrested Kisean Andersen, aka Sean Kingston, without incident, on an arrest warrant issued by the Broward Sheriff’s Office for multiple fraud and theft allegations.”

According to investigators, the man will be booked in San Bernardino jail.

Care Officer Codd, Public Information Officer for Broward County Sheriff’s Office, said that SWAT members from Davie Police and Broward County deputies served search warrants on the mansion of Kingston in Southwest Ranches May 23.

Janice Turner was arrested at Kingston’s home in South Florida earlier today.

Codd stated that “after an investigation which began in Dania Beach this morning, BSO Dania Beach District Detectives, along with members from BSO’s Strategic Investigations Unit, and Davie Police SWAT served arrest and search orders at a home in Southwest Ranches.”

As a result, a female adult, Janice Turner was arrested on multiple fraud and theft charges.

The Department noted that the investigation is “active and ongoing.”

Kingston had posted earlier in the day on Instagram that “people love negative energy!” My mother and I are both doing well! “My lawyers are taking care of everything right now.”

Kingston’s full name is Kisean Anderson. He rose to fame with his 2007 debut single “Beautiful Girls.” Since then, he’s worked with Justin Bieber and Kanye.

Kingston, a jet skier from Miami, was in a near fatal accident in 2011 after his watercraft hit a Miami Beach Bridge. Kingston was hospitalized for three weeks after he suffered a broken wrist, a fractured jaw and water in his lungs.

After a three-month probe, the authorities found that Kingston had not understood basic boating safety protocol.
