Tulsi Gabriel, a former Democratic Rep., and Iraq War veteran, outlined the dangers of losing the freedoms that defined America in the past if Biden wins the presidency again in 2024.
Gabbard talked to Joe Rogan in the podcast “Joe Rogan’s Experience” on Wednesday about her book “For Love of Country – Leave the Democrat Party Behind,” describing how she left the Democratic Party when it turned into an “elitist group of warmongers driven insane by woke ideologies and anti-White animus.”
Gabbard stated that both Republicans and Democrats had their problems. “In my experience and the current situation with the Biden and Harris administrations, I cannot allow them to remain in office.”
She then went on to criticize the White House for its “unprecedented misuse of power, undermining rule of law and politicizing government entities. They are targeting Americans – targeting Americans who happen to be in their political opposition. Whether it’s Donald Trump, or a mom protesting at an education board meeting to have her say about what type of education her daughter is receiving. It’s happening all over the country. If we, the American people, don’t stop it and hold them accountable for their actions, what will happen in the elections?
Gabbard offered a dystopian view of America, where “if they are allowed to remain in office, they will say, ‘Hey you gave us a mandate.'” You said ‘Hey, thumbs up! Keep at it.’ And we will see that everything continues to escalate until we reach a point where I am certain that our freedoms are going to be eroded and that it will be nearly impossible to recover them.
Gabbard said that America would no longer be the “land of freedom and home of the brave” but instead, it would become a land where people are forced to conform to the government. If you dare to stand up and say the truth, or to say that the emperor is naked, that boys are still boys, and girls remain girls, you’ll face the consequences.
Rogan had earlier in the episode noted that the freedom of speech makes it difficult for those in power to “control narratives” in America, and Gabbard agreed.
She said, “That’s all there is, power and control,” They’re afraid of a free society, where we could have an open and free marketplace of ideas. She said this when she ran for President in 2020.
She argued that this top-down control over information during elections “undermines our basic responsibility as Citizens, which is to vote informed and participate in our democracy, and have a Government of, By, and For the People.”
Gabbard continued, “They are afraid of us making that choice and what they think is the wrong one, so they try to take away our rights to do so, so they can stay in power.” “I know a lot of these people and they believe they’re righteous, they stand up for America, they stand up for democracy. They are so convinced that this is what they should be doing that they would destroy our democracy to keep it. This dangerous and dangerous mindset could have been used by foreign dictators throughout history.”
