Martha Raddatz, the host of ABC’s “This Week”, was not impressed with Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s lame attempt to defend President Biden for his disastrous performance at the border. Raddatz did not buy Warren’s lame excuses and also reminded viewers that Donald Trump, the former president, was a danger to democracy.
Raddatz gets straight to the point
RADDATZ: I know President Biden wanted the immigration bill to be passed, bipartisan. But there have been over 6,9 million apprehensions along the southern border during Biden’s tenure. Donald Trump’s term saw just under two million apprehensions. What went wrong with the president?
WARREN: No, it’s not about what the President did wrong. On the first day he took office, Biden requested comprehensive immigration reform and resources from Congress. The Republicans have blocked, blocked, blocked, blocked, it. The Republicans blocked it, blocked it, blocked it.
RADDATZ: Donald Trump also didn’t possess that, Senator. He did not have it either, and there were only two million in his entire tenure.
Wow, a network host is rebuking a Democrat. It’s not something you see every day.

We’ve covered this extensively: Biden and Warren’s claims that new legislation will be enough to solve the crisis are a sham. Biden’s first week as president saw him take a series of executive actions to dismantle Trump’s border policy. The results were horrendous. The bill that she mentions, which was rejected by Congress, was a complete disaster and would not have solved the problem.
Warren is best at gaslighting. You should have seen this coming: Donald Trump is to blame!
Donald Trump said he would block any action by Congress because he wanted more chaos at the border. He wants to cause as much division in the country as possible. He wants us to be against the immigrants who are here and who support this country. They make it stronger. Donald Trump does everything he can to promote Donald Trump and undermine the United States of America. Biden uses the resources at his disposal to try to knit our nation together and to provide us with border security and a path to citizenship.
Warren rambled on but it was clear that nothing is Joe Biden’s responsibility. And even though Biden has overseen the worst border crisis of modern times, Trump and the GOP are somehow to blame. Even a liberal ABC anchor has had enough of this shameless narrative.
