Trump Teases VP Choice Decision: Big Hint Dropped on His Pick

The question of who will be Donald Trump’s Vice President pick is a big one.

For months, there have been many names that have been speculated about.

Trump has now said that he made his decision while in Philadelphia, at Tony and Nick’s, a cheesesteak restaurant. Trump, as we reported, gave them a $500 tip, bragged about his “No Tax on Tips” plan, and signed the receipt. He gave a great moment to a young fan, giving him a $20 bill signed and lots of attention.

Trump claimed that he knew his choice in his head, but hadn’t yet told anyone. The VP candidate doesn’t know who it is. Trump hinted at who the VP would be by saying the person would be present for his debate with Joe Biden in the coming week.

Trump recently asked a Cleveland audience about Senator J.D. Vance (R – OH), and all of them were in favor of his running mate as follows:

Vance said on Sunday that he hadn’t yet been asked. Vance and the North Dakota Governor were reportedly asked to provide documents. Doug Burgum and Sen. Marco Rubio, (R-FL), were asked for documents in June to presumably check out their qualifications for the job.

According to a NY Post source, Townhall said he was looking for someone who could take on the task before the election. He’s also interested in who will be able to do the job once the election is over.

The source stated, “He is looking to see who can raise the most money, who is the most effective surrogate in TV debates with opposing media, and who will best debate Kamala Harris.” [….]

Brian Hughes, senior adviser to Trump, said that the former president was most concerned about choosing a Vice President who would be a “strong leader” and make a good President for 8 years after the end of his next 4-year term.

It’s important to have someone who won’t do anything but cackle and talk about time passing. Whatever the choice, they’ll need to start moving quickly to restore order after the devastation caused by Joe Biden. Someone who is committed to the cause, and not just to their advancement. It would be great if someone could take up the torch in 2028 and be the presumed nominee. No matter who is chosen, it must be someone who can withstand the assault from the Democrats.
