I think I am not alone in being a little scared by the inclusion of some “sports” for the Summer Olympics in Paris in 2024. An announcer announced that Rhythmic Swimming was the next event. Synchronized swimming is the updated name of a sport I have watched at other Olympics and you may have seen it too.
It was a bit like watching Cirque Du Sol, which is amazing, but it’s not a sport. I could have been the only one.
I’m not sure about break dancing. I like it. When I was growing up, I was part of the hip-hop revolution. I first heard it at a party.
It is unlikely that this will return to the Olympic stage. What are the reasons? what are the reasons?
Watch:
This is Rachael Gunn, she has a PhD in cultural movement and convinced Australia to pay for her trip to the Paris Olympics.
She participated in break dancing and got 0 points.

You might have expected that clips of her performance, if you like to call it by that name, quickly went viral on social media. People laughed and pointed at the madness.
I can’t get rid of this thing.
I have seen children dance better because they have learned from Fortnite.
Anna Meares, defending the show at BBC, said that mocking Gunn was “disappointing” and misogynistic.
Meares said that in 2008, “she was the only woman in a room full of men crying because she was participating in a male-dominated sport. She had to have great courage to struggle to play the sport she loved. ”
Gunn appeared to agree with Meares and asked if her male counterparts received the same level of anger over their clothing choices.
Gunn said in his Friday speech that he looked forward to seeing what the B-boys will wear tomorrow.
Gunn said that she tried moving differently, even though she was wearing the track uniform for her country and not streetwear as the other competitors.
Gunn explained the performance she gave by saying, “I was not going to be in a position to compete with them on what they do best, which are their dynamic and powerful moves. I wanted to be creative and artistic, as you don’t have many chances to do that on an international stage.
“I have always been an underdog and wanted to make my mark differently. ”
This just confirms the Left’s woke culture. Any criticism of their actions will be turned into something else, usually an attack on you. Being the best is not the goal, it’s about being unique.
Instead of dwelling on them, I’ll focus on Sydney McLaughlin. She is an American athlete who won a gold medal at the Olympics in the 400-meter hurdles. Sydney McLaughlin is a Christian first and foremost.
“I credit all that I do to God…Regardless of what happens, He’s going to get the praise… That’s why I do what I do.”

In a second interview, she revealed that other people had told her not to talk about her Christian faith for fear of losing out on an endorsement deal.
Olympic Gold Medalist Sydney McLaughlin on being “canceled” for speaking out about her faith.
“I don’t live for the approval of people… even if an endorsement or something wants to leave, I know God will provide.”
We need more of this. 🙏 pic.twitter.com/n8es21w2vS

Being a champion is knowing you will face hardship for what you stand for, but doing it anyway. God bless her!
