After Hamas killed six hostages, including an American hostage you might think the U.S. would finally respond by saying Hamas must be eliminated. That would be logical. But this is the Biden/Harris government we are talking about.
Biden stated the death of Hersh Goldberg-Polin but was widely criticized for his failure to address this issue. In the statement, he said he “worked tirelessly” to free the hostages — even though he continued his vacation.

He wasn’t back until Monday. He came back on Monday and is now acting like he has something to do with Kamala Harris. The hostage deal negotiation team reportedly met in the Situation room on Monday morning.

The White House stated that the meeting will be centered around efforts to secure the release of remaining hostages. The press is not allowed to attend the meeting.
Wait, let’s pause and think about it for a moment. Let’s kill the hostages and then let’s go after Hamas, who is responsible for their deaths. You want the hostages, but you don’t want them to be rewarded. Biden and Harris have taught them that bad behavior can be beneficial. It’s also closed to the media because they cannot ask any questions or see Biden’s condition. The press will say how badly they want to make a deal. This shows Hamas that the US is weak and can be used as leverage.
Biden and Harris warned Israel to keep out of Rafah and tried to stop them from attacking Hamas. The hostages were shot at close range. Translation: they were executed before being rescued. The Biden-Harris duo keeps trying to limit Israel’s action by throwing lifelines to Hamas.
Hamas has been holding hostages and killing Americans for nearly a year. Biden has largely done nothing other than to say periodically that he is working towards a ceasefire agreement. This should have prompted a strong response. Yet, Biden and Harris are only talking about a ceasefire deal. They don’t seem to be taking any actions against Hamas.
As Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu noted, if you are killing hostages you don’t exactly look like you want to make a deal. They have already rejected several deals. Deals rather than actions might not be the best approach.
Will they be doing anything in their Situation Room, other than sending that to the media to make it look like they are doing something? Will they release terrorists to kill people again if they reach a deal?
It’s important to stop the cycle of Hamas and/or degrade its options as much as you can.
