Former president Trump wants to meet with the woman who alerted the authorities to a vehicle driven by a suspect accused of trying to kill him on Sunday.

Trump was speaking at a Flint, Michigan town hall to his supporters when he spoke of the attempted murder in Florida that took place on Sunday. The suspect fled from the golf course, where he was allegedly planning to kill Trump. He then fled on foot before fleeing in a car.

Trump stated, “A woman driving a car saw an individual on the street.” She followed him. He got in the car, and she stopped as she thought that he might be in trouble. He looked different. He looked like trouble.

He added, “It was not very far. I parked behind his car and began taking pictures of the license plate.” “She takes a picture of the license plate and sends it to the sheriff’s department.”

Martin County deputies arrested the suspect on Interstate 95. Trump praised her for her diligence.

Who would have done this if you had a thousand incidents like these? Would one person even have done it? Trump asked. “This woman did. I haven’t yet met her but I would like to.” “I’m hoping to meet her.”
