Cory Booker Blocks Ted Cruz’s AI Revenge Porn Bill Protecting Minors in Move to Aid Collin Allred

Cory Booker, a New Jersey Democrat, has done a lot of bad things during his tenure in office. But this may be his lowest moment, all to complicate Texas Senator Ted Cruz’s path to reelection.

Cruz introduced the Take It Down Act, which criminalizes pornographic AI deepfakes that are often used to revenge porn and feature minors.

The Federalist reported that Booker had filed an objection at the last minute to a bipartisan bill just before it was to be voted. He did not give a reason when asked.

It doesn’t necessarily mean that his true motive can’t still be determined. According to The Federalist, Booker is suspected of doing this because he is good friends with Collin Allred, who’s running against Cruz in the race for his senate position. Ted Cruz was prompted to criticize Booker:

Booker has a close relationship with Cruz’s Texas Senate opponent, Colin Allred. This led some observers to believe that Booker was primarily motivated by denying Cruz a legislative win during an election. Cruz, who is a logical person, expressed his concern about this possibility: “I hope he doesn’t stand up here and deny victims of abuse relief just to score political points… To believe that he wouldn’t do such a ‘thing’, he would need to explain some reason for this objection.”

Cruz isn’t alone. Booker was also criticized by the 15-year-old girl who inspired the bill. She had been victimized in the same way as Cruz, but she spoke out because of her experience. Booker’s constituency includes the girl.

Francesca Mani was even more upset when she learned that the boys in her class used AI software to create sexually explicit pictures of her and her female classmates.

According to The Federalist, Democrats often accuse Trump of playing the same game, pointing out the failed border funding bill. They fail to mention that the border funding bill wasn’t a bill for protection, but rather made it easier for Biden and Harris to allow more illegals into the country. Republicans argued that Democrats did not need any more money or power to shut the border. They already had everything they needed. The Democrats were just trying to grab power.

Cruz’s bill isn’t useless. This is something that must be done right away to stop the pornography of children. Booker does not see this issue as being as important as ensuring his friend’s re-election to the Senate against a Republican. According to him, the actual suffering of minors and their digital undressing can wait until another time.

I have said this many times, but it is not enough.

The Democrats aren’t interested in you. They care more about power and will sacrifice anyone to get it. It’s the children of America… and especially their young girls.

This story should be widely publicized, so that it becomes clear that Booker and Allred will do anything to gain power. This should not only secure Cruz’s senate position, but it should also shine a spotlight on the Democrat Party’s priorities.

You’re not alone.
