A school spokesperson stated that no additional information is being released at this time due to the ongoing investigation.

Adams stated that all Santa Monica College campuses will be closed on Tuesday to “prioritize the safety and wellbeing of our community.”

He said that Santa Monica College is committed to providing a safe working environment for its employees and students.
