CNN Reporter Tries to Challenge Scott Presler, Receives a Strong Response

CNN may still be obsessed with January 6, 2021, even though it is late 2024. A reporter for the left-wing channel tried to bait Scott Presler by asking if he was calling for peace “to prevent another January 6th type incident.” He gave the perfect answer.

 

 

• REPORTER: When you urge people to action, you often include the word ‘peacefully.’
• PRESLER: Peacefully
• REPORTER: Is that to avoid another Jan 6 type incident?
• PRESLER: I do this to avoid people saying that I am anything other than what you think. I’m going to be super cute, have all my facts and data, and then treat everyone with respect and love.

 

The reporter’s bias was evident before she even asked the question. The chyron describes Presler as “a controversial activist.” I can’t figure out what is controversial in legally registering voters. Is it reaching out to Amish? CNN is sure to find it very controversial.

 

I remember Stacey Abrams pushing disinformation through voting machines when she refused to admit her loss in the 2022 elections to Brian Kemp. Her get-out-the-vote organization was also involved in a scandal and eventually shut down. CNN: Has she ever been described as “controversial” in all her appearances? No, of course not.

 

 

This kind of gives away the game, doesn’t it? CNN would accuse Presler of “stochastic terror” if he didn’t use the word “peacefully,” or whatever phrase is popular at the moment to suggest that someone is encouraging violence. When he uses it, he is assumed to be trying to avoid a repeat of the “incident” on January 6. This is press bias in a few words.

 

You’d think that at some point CNN and others would realize that no one is interested in January 6th. What other proof is there? It took the press years to claim that Donald Trump had used January 6th as a means of overthrowing the government. This accusation was never supported by any evidence. He still won. It’s finally time to move on from this.

 

Presler deserves credit for refusing to be manipulated. It was an excellent answer to turn the question around, pointing out that Presler is only qualifying his statement because the media is so biased and eager to accuse everything Republican of inciting violence.
