Jill Biden’s Snub of Kamala Harris Sparks Social Media Firestorm

Social media was ablaze with outrage after what many described as Jill Biden’s cold reception of Vice President Kamala Harris, as she sat next to the former Democratic presidential candidate at Arlington Cemetery.

Harris and Douglas Emhoff, the second gentleman, approached the row from the right of the first lady as the vice president greeted everyone around her – except Biden.

Steve Cortes, a conservative commentator, said that it was safe to assume Jill Biden hates Kamala’s guts. He shared a clip of the non-interaction.

Biden, who was sitting next to Harris, appeared to be looking straight ahead while wearing dark sunglasses.

The popular X account, “End Wokeness,” claimed that “Jill Biden would not even look at Kamala.”

Andy Ngo, a journalist, shared a close-up photo of the first family, including Biden, calling him “stone-faced” and stating that Harris supporters blamed President Biden in part for their candidate’s loss on Tuesday.

Leonardo Panetta, an Italian TV journalist, wrote in Italian on X that Harris had been “ignored by Biden” after her victory.

Panetta stated that “Jill Biden… didn’t get up to meet her, and then remained sitting next to the vice-president wearing sunglasses without even deigning to glance at her.” “Good climate in America.”

Benny Arthur Johnson, a right-wing journalist, said: “They are not handling the loss very well.”

Watch Jill Biden give Kamala a cold shoulder when she arrives at Arlington National Cemetery. Kamala quickly raced past Jill while the cameras were rolling.

In a separate posting, Dave Rubin said that he had not “seen any two girls that hated one another that much since Dorothy stole the Rusty Anchor men from Blanche in Season 7 of ‘The Golden Girls.'”

Rubin was told by a user that “whoever seated them together hates both of them.”

David Harris Jr., a conservative author, suggested that there may be a “rift,” within the party after Harris’ lopsided loss to Donald Trump.

The first and second family members were in the Virginia cemetery when the president laid a wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier to commemorate Veterans Day.

According to the Daily Mail’s account, the first lady did greet Emhoff with “enthusiasm,” but appeared more stoic upon Harris’ arrival.

During the campaign, the first lady spoke about how she and Harris bonded because of the cancer deaths of family members and other connections.

The first lady will be in her hometown of Philadelphia on Wednesday to give remarks at the Philadelphia250 gala, which is preparing for America’s semi quincentennial celebration next year.
