RFK Jr. Reveals Trump ‘Assured’ Him a Role in the White House

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. claimed that former President Trump told him he’d get a job in the White House if the GOP ticket wins.

 

Kennedy responded to comments made this week by Howard Lutnick, co-chair of Trump-Vance’s transition team, who said that Kennedy “would not be getting a job as the leader of Health and Human Services” (HHS).

 

“As I said, that is not true. The campaign has walked back those statements by Howard Lutnick, and he has disavowed those statements,” Kennedy said when asked about the interview this past week with Lutnick.

 

 

MacCallum asked if Kennedy was indeed going to be the HHS secretary.

 

Kennedy replied, “We don’t know what I’m going to be doing.” Kennedy said: “I spoke to the President about it yesterday. He asked me what I was looking for, and I replied that we are developing a plan now.”

 

Kennedy stated that he wanted to be in the best position to combat chronic diseases and that Trump would “fight like hell” for him to get it.

 

He continued, “I don’t know if that will be the most efficient. I want to work in the White House. He has assured me I will have it, but I do want to be where I can be most effective in ending the chronic disease epidemic. I am confident that the president will fight to make this happen if I choose to become HHS Secretary.”
