JD Vance Fires Back at John Bolton’s Outburst Over Kash Patel

Few nominations by Donald Trump are as important as Kash Patel’s appointment to head the FBI. The FBI has been transformed into a haven of corruption, whose main goal is to protect itself and the Democratic Party. From targeting parents at school board meetings to raiding Mar-a-Lago, an overhaul is needed, and accountability must be brought to those who weaponized the agency.

Patel is the perfect person to do this. He is qualified and experienced. He played a key role in uncovering the Russian conspiracy hoax, and will “protect the shield” with no holds barred. All the right people are upset by this. John Bolton said that Patel was similar to the Soviet secret police chief and urged the Senate to reject Patel’s nomination.

The arrogance of so many people in Washington is not only gross but psychopathic. John Bolton has had a career marked by failure, much like Liz Cheney. They are not experts nor do they hold any moral high ground. If they were ashamed, they would disappear into the background and never be heard again.

The Boltons and Cheneys of the world, however, continue to act as authorities and speak about “norms”, which have only led to death and destruction. JD Vance didn’t miss the point, and he delivered a perfect response.

Vance is right. Bolton and those like him have been wrong in almost every aspect. They have led the United States to costly wars while protecting abuses of domestic agencies. It is false to believe that the status quo is efficient and worth maintaining. People like Bolton, who hold on to and promote “norms”, only serve to perpetuate corruption and government overspending. They are not sacred. They are not worth preserving. Now is the time to knock down those walls.

If the Beltway elites weren’t happy with that, they might have thought twice about supporting the weaponization by the FBI of political opponents of Democrats, including Donald Trump and Catholics who practice their religion. It is important to restore trust, and this will not happen with another bureau lackey in charge. Patel, will he expose the skeletons that are in the closet? They should not have been in the closet to begin with. Anyone worried about “norms breaking” should be more concerned with how far their government has fallen.
