Luka Doncic, of the Dallas Mavericks, is the latest professional sportsperson whose house has been broken into.

The Business manager of the star guard told several media outlets on Saturday that there had been a break-in to Doncic’s house. Lara Beth Seager told multiple media outlets that nobody was at home when the incident occurred Friday night. Doncic also filed a police complaint.

According to a police report obtained by the Dallas Morning News, jewelry worth about $30,000.00 was stolen.

Jason Kidd, Mavericks coach, said that he had spoken to Luka after the incident. “He’s fine. “I’m glad no one was hurt.”

Doncic, a 25-year-old Slovenian, is the sixth pro athlete in America whose house has been burglarized. Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow, and Travis Kelce, Mahomes’ tight-end, are all among the victims, as well as Joe Burrow, a star quarterback from Cincinnati.

Other players were Minnesota Timberwolves guard Mike Conley Jr. and Milwaukee Bucks forward Bobby Portis.

After the break-ins occurred, the NFL and NBA sent out security alerts. Some of these incidents happened when players were on road trips with their teams. According to the NFL alert, homes of professional athletes from multiple sports are “increasingly being targeted by organized and skillful groups for burglaries.”

Burrow complained about losing his privacy by having to admit that he had been the victim of an intruder.

The incident occurred at Doncic’s home two days after he suffered a calf strain in his left leg during a Timberwolves loss on Christmas Day. Doncic is expected to be sidelined for a few weeks due to the injury.
