A bomb scare occurred in South Carolina this week, causing the closure of portions of Interstate 85.
Greenville County Sheriff’s Office shared information on Facebook this afternoon.
Greenville County Bomb Team and SWAT members are helping the SC State Transport Police near mile marker 42 of Interstate 85 Northbound. They requested assistance shortly after 3:30 pm following a traffic stop. We are working with State Transport Police in response to a report about a potentially hazardous device.
