Remember Hunter Biden, the supposed artist? This was one of the most shallow and obvious attempts at money laundering by a member of the Biden clan, which is saying a lot. Hunter’s “art”, which was inspired by a paint factory explosion, could have been finger-painted better by a gifted kindergartener. Hunter’s daubs were praised by the art world – or at least those who helped the Bidens launder bribes. The paintings even sold for a large sum of money.
Hey, they sold to anonymous buyers. Give me a break.
The New York Post has just published an exclusive and heartbreaking report about the destruction of artworks by Hunter Biden, including paintings, that are worth millions of dollars. A source close to Biden’s family claims the artworks were destroyed in the wildfires raging through the LA area.
The Post reports that a collection of almost 200 works by Hunter Biden was destroyed in the Los Angeles wildfires.
A source close to Biden’s family revealed that the controversial artwork was stored near the Pacific Palisades residence of Hunter’s Hollywood lawyer Kevin Morris. It is worth “millions” of dollars, the source said.
The Post confirms that Morris, who has been funding a documentary about him and loaned his first son almost $5 million to pay a tax bill, lives in an expansive five-bedroom home with six bathrooms, which is one of the few intact houses in the posh neighborhood.
Hunter’s art was controversial because, in a sane world, a few daubs from his hand would not be worth as much as a can of tuna melt. I am not an artist and I don’t play one on TV. My father, a Midwestern painter of some renown, was in the Iowa Capitol Building for many years with a painting of his always displayed. He was also the Eastern Iowa Arts Council president for several years. So I do have some idea of what “art” means.
Hunter Biden’s daubs can’t be worth “millions of dollars.” These daubs are not worth millions of drachmae. Maybe a groat.
An attorney for Hunter Biden who is an artist self-taught who took up painting as a way to recover from his drug addiction did not respond immediately to a comment request.
You don’t have to say anything.
Hunter’s first son, a Soho gallery owner who had arranged solo exhibitions of his work in Los Angeles and New York for 2021, has broken ties with him.
“I don’t know what’s happening with the art,” said gallery owner Georges Berges. “I have some of his work on canvas, some metal pieces at the gallery.”
Hunter’s artwork has been sold for as much as $500,000 per piece, but Berges told The Post that the average price is closer to $85,000.
It’s been reported that the Hunter Biden artwork in California has burned, but it’s okay – it served its function.
Hunter Biden’s career in art is one of the most obvious and transparent money laundering schemes. Some of his paintings have been destroyed, and the art world has responded with a resounding, “So what?” The loss of Hunter Biden’s artwork, when compared to the tragedy of the LA fires and the property losses, injuries, and deaths that resulted, is only notable because it exposes yet another aspect of Biden’s graft.
Monday can’t get here soon enough.
