Jill Biden Speaks Out on Pelosi’s Betrayal and End of 50-Year Friendship

It’s finally time for the Bidens, who have been in Washington, D.C., to return to the beaches of Delaware. Many Americans couldn’t wait for it to arrive.

In a farewell interview published by the Washington Post on Wednesday, First Lady Jill Biden reflected on some of the relationships that she had celebrated in the White House, as well as the shocking betrayal committed by Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-CA, which left her “disappointed.”

I think the words she wanted to say were “heartbroken,” “livid,” “seething,” and the like, but I guess she was trying to be stately:

The First Lady is at peace with the ending. B-ut.

Let’s say that I was disappointed in the way it played out.

Why?

“I don’t know. I learned a great deal about human nature.”

Meaning…

“I’m not going to say anything else.”

That wasn’t the only thing she said.

We reported that former House Speaker Pelosi led a team, including Sen. Chuck Schumer, former President Barack Obama, and House Minority leader Hakeem Jeffreys (DNY), to force Joe Biden from the presidential race following his historically poor debate performance in June.

Nancy Pelosi is the next person we come across, who Jill has been friends with for almost as long as Joe. Joe was a good friend of Nancy Pelosi when they were rising to the top of American politics. Jill was eager to invite him to the White House when coronavirus restrictions were lifted and the Bidens could entertain. Who appeared on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe”, in July, with a shiv?

Pelosi stated that it was up to Biden to decide whether he would run, even though Biden had already decided to stay in the race.

Jill, sitting in the Green Room at the White House, says, “I have been thinking a great deal about relationships.”

Her face, nearly pearlescent with a lustrous foundation, betrays no particular emotion. She’s holding a china cup. [Sorry to interrupt, but what is this obsequious garbage? Nauseating.]

Tea. With honey and lemon.

It’s something that has been on my mind lately.

Jill pauses.

“We’ve been friends for fifty years.” She uses her teacher’s voice. ‘It was disappointing.”

We’ve reported that there have been several frosty moments with the Bidens, especially those who they believe betrayed their trust, such as Kamala Obama and Pelosi. Joe and Jill have not spoken to Pelosi since Joe’s reelection campaign was abruptly ended.

It’s a tough way to end 50 years of friendship.

It’s almost impossible to feel sorry for Jill Biden. She came across as dangerously powerful and put her interests above the good of the nation. According to reports, she kept urging her husband to run for a second term, despite his barely being able to complete his first. This line in the interview shatters any sympathy I had for Jill Biden.

Jill replies, “Yes,” when asked if her husband could have governed the nation for four more years. “I think that he is very busy today. He began early with briefings and interviews, and the schedule just kept going.”

It will continue, thankfully, but this comment reveals a dark side to the First Lady. She wanted him to keep talking despite it being almost impossible to understand his words. Unconscionable.

The lesson Jill must learn from Pelosi’s betrayal is: to live with snakes or get bitten.
