Dem Congressman Embarrasses Himself With Absurd Take on ‘Les Mis’ Performance at Governors Ball

Over the weekend, President Donald Trump hosted a Governor’s Ball that was unlike any other.

During the event, Trump had a confrontation with and dispatched Maine Gov. Janet Mills on the issue of Title IX.

There were other inspiring moments as well, such as when the Trump team invited the U.S. Army Chorus to sing “Les Miserables”, including “Do You Hear the People Sing?” and “One Day More” reprises, during the dinner. It was inspirational.

The post was viewed by over 4,000,000 people. Partly because it was so good, and partly due to the left’s insane view of it.

Some on the left mistakenly believed that the U.S. Army Chorus was sending a “message” to President Trump. Representative Jim McGovern (D-MA) even posted a misleading tweet, falsely claiming that the chorus had “protested” Trump at his event, adding that he was “too foolish to realize it.”

Imagine a congressman who thinks that cleaning up the government and reducing it is “tyranny.”

Many people claimed that MAGA didn’t understand the message and it was a protest.

Poor leftists. They are desperate. There’s just one small problem in their delusion. The ignorant ones were the ones who spread the song, not realizing the message.

Trump has been using “Do you hear the people sing?” For years, Trump has used “Do You Hear the People Sing?” at his rallies/events. He sees it as a rallying call for the people. Note the sign modified in the back. It is a criticism of Hillary Clinton called “Les Deplorables.”

It’s because they sing “Even in the darkest of nights, the sun will come up”

Change is coming. The sun has come up, Trump won and the world has changed.

You can also find a piece of “One Day More.”

The lyrics to “One Day More”, which they do not sing on the Governors Ball compilation but that I found intriguing, given their anger over his use of the word “king”, said that once you have overcome oppression, every man will become a king.

Every man will be a king
Every man will be a king
There’s a new world for the winning
There’s a new world to be won

Trump used the term “king”, in opposition to NY Gov. Kathy Hochul’s congestion charges to relieve people of the oppressive fees.

Positive changes are on the way and we have that to look forward to.

The song that was sung at the Governors Ball ends with:

Tomorrow we’ll discover
What our God in Heaven has in store
One more dawn
One more day
One day more
