Elon Musk, the powerful advisor to President Donald Trump, spent millions of dollars to influence the Wisconsin election.
Trump won two House races in Florida that remained in Republican control, just two months after his return to the White House.
According to U.S. news media, his efforts to place a Republican on the Wisconsin Supreme Court failed, with liberal judge Susan Crawford beating out Trump-backed Brad Schimel.
Trump had pushed earlier for the conservative candidate running for a spot on Wisconsin’s highest court. He said on social media, Schimel was “a Patriot” and Crawford was “a Radical Left Liberal.”
The Wisconsin election will determine whether or not the Supreme Court of Wisconsin, which decides on voting districts and other issues, tilts its majority to the left or the right.
Two seats in the Florida House of Representatives are up for grabs. They were left vacant by Trump’s National security advisor Mike Waltz and Matt Gaetz, who failed to be nominated for Attorney General.
On Tuesday night, the media declared that Florida’s 6th district was in favor of Republican Randy Fine. Trump tweeted: “Congratulations Randy! A great win against a massive CASH avalanche.”
Media outlets called the Florida first district special election for Trump-backed Republican Jimmy Patronis shortly after.
Trump took credit for the victory of his party in both districts with deep reds, posting on Facebook, “The Trump support, as always, has proven far greater than Democrats forces evil.”
