Netanyahu Hid Beeper Attack Details From Biden Over Leak Fears

Prime Minister Netanyahu disclosed some classified details about Israel’s operations against Hezbollah. The media is clutching their pearls, but let’s be clear: this is a man who understands the existential threats facing Israel better than any armchair critic. If he chose to reveal this information, it’s because he made a calculated decision that the benefits outweigh the risks. That’s called leadership, folks.

Netanyahu explicitly stated that Israel chose not to inform the Biden administration about certain operations due to fears of leaks. This is a fundamental indictment of the current U.S. administration’s trustworthiness. If our closest ally in the Middle East doesn’t feel safe sharing critical intelligence with us, that’s a damning statement about Biden’s ability to safeguard American interests.

The left will undoubtedly cry foul and claim this damages U.S.-Israel relations. But here’s the reality: a strong alliance is based on mutual respect and understanding of each nation’s sovereign right to defend itself. Israel, surrounded by enemies who want to wipe it off the map, has every right to make unilateral decisions about its security. The idea that they should run every operation by Washington for approval is absurd on its face.

Let’s say, for the sake of argument, that Netanyahu should have kept this information classified. Even if that were true – and I’m not conceding that it is – it pales in comparison to the repeated intelligence leaks we’ve seen from the Biden administration. The hypocrisy here is staggering. The same people who are outraged by Netanyahu’s comments were silent when sensitive information about potential Israeli operations was mysteriously finding its way to the New York Times.

Israel faces a greater existential threat than any other Western democracy. They are quite literally fighting for their survival. The data clearly shows that appeasing terrorist organizations like Hezbollah or playing nice with Iran has never resulted in peace. It only emboldens our enemies and puts more lives at risk.

In conclusion, Netanyahu’s actions reflect a clear-eyed understanding of the geopolitical realities Israel faces. He’s prioritizing the safety and security of his people over the hurt feelings of bureaucrats and the hand-wringing of the international left. And that’s something the progressive apologists for terrorism simply cannot refute.
