According to the owner, a 12-foot tall bust of Elon Musk was vandalized in Texas.
Eleazar Villafranca confirmed to the owner of the property that the bust was vandalized over the weekend.
Villafranca is a construction worker who said that several truckers called him Saturday to say the bust was damaged. On Monday, when he arrived, he found thick gashes around the eye, chin, and back of the bust.
Villafranca said, “There’s like three or four parts they cut with the knife. The bust measures 12 feet high and is made from a rubbery material.”

He said the artist, who was a friend to Villafranca in France, had hired him to put the bust up on his property. It has been there for about one year.
Villafranca stated that he had tried to contact the artist about the vandalism, but he did not hear back. He said that another artist has agreed to repair it.
He stated that the officials had already been informed of the vandalism, and they had filed a police report. However, he was not aware if there had been any suspects found.
The attack comes on the heels of recent attacks against Tesla dealerships, cars, and charging stations across the United States since Musk joined the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) of the Trump Administration.
