The Washington Times reported that the Department of Homeland Security updated its policy on Wednesday to only recognize two sexes – male or female – on immigration forms.

In a press release, DHS Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs Tricia McLaughlin said that there are only two genders – male and female. “President Trump promised to the American people that he would bring a revolution in common sense. This includes ensuring that the U.S. Government’s policy is in line with biological reality.”

She added, “Proper management is important for national security. It’s not the place to promote an ideology that harms children permanently and deprives women of dignity, safety, and well-being.”

In 2023, the Biden administration will introduce the “another gender identification” option to include nonbinary and Transgender people in the immigration process.

This update was inspired by Trump’s executive order of Jan. 20, “restoring biological truth in the federal government.”
