Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, is playing his old tricks again. He’s puffing up his chest and making empty threats like a schoolyard bully. But you know what? We’re not falling for it. Not one bit. And neither is President Trump.
Khamenei, who’s been hiding in his palace since Israel began its rightful defense, finally decided to crawl out from under his rock. He went on his state-run propaganda machine and made the audacious claim that his regime won’t accept President Trump’s call for an unconditional surrender. Can you believe this guy?
“Intelligent people who know Iran,” he said, “will never speak to this nation in threatening language because the Iranian nation will not surrender.” This from the man who’s been threatening the free world for decades! He even had the nerve to warn us that any U.S. military intervention would be met with “irreparable damage.”
As Khamenei was rattling his saber, thousands of scared Iranians were fleeing Tehran. Why? Because Israeli warplanes had bombed the city overnight, targeting their illicit missile factories. This is what happens when tyrants mess with freedom-loving nations.
Trump is considering joining Israel in strikes against Iranian nuclear sites. Now that’s what I call leadership! But guess what? Iran has threatened to retaliate against us for any direct participation. Oh, really? Because we’re all shaking in our boots over here.
Iran’s threats are nothing more than hot air, and President Trump isn’t going to be bullied. This is the real world, not some liberal fantasy where we can just appease tyrants and expect them to play nice.
