President Donald Trump issued a stern warning to any folks foolish enough to consider protesting at the upcoming military parade in our great nation’s capital. Now celebrating the U.S. Army’s 250th anniversary isn’t something to sneer at – not in this country!
Trump made it crystal clear, he said, “For those people that want to protest, they’re going to be met with very big force.” This is the kind of decisive action and leadership we’ve been missing for so long.
The drive-by media won’t tell you this, but our law enforcement agencies are gearing up for this event in a big way. We’re talking hundreds of thousands of patriotic Americans flocking to watch this parade. And they’re prepared, folks. Thousands of agents, officers and specialists are being deployed from every corner of this great nation.
The FBI and the Metropolitan Police Department have confirmed there are no credible threats to the event. But that doesn’t mean we kick back and relax. No, sir! Trump’s not taking any chances. He’s calling in the cavalry – 4,000 National Guard troops and 700 Marines – to contain any potential unrest. And why? Because he respects the American people. He respects our traditions and our military.
This is the kind of leadership we need. A leader who doesn’t bow down to protestors, but stands firm in defense of American values.
