The mother, Adriana Reyes, reported that Ramos had become aggressive, prompting her to express fear and request assistance.

The records also expose a pattern of increasing disciplinary issues involving Ramos. School records indicate that he was frequently suspended or disciplined for bullying and harassment, falling short of minimum statewide testing standards, and eventually withdrew from high school due to poor academic performance and attendance.
