Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani is on the mend after sustaining injuries from a car crash in New Hampshire. According to reliable sources, Giuliani’s vehicle was rear-ended on a highway on Saturday evening.
Giuliani had a fractured thoracic vertebra, multiple lacerations and contusions, as well as injuries to his left arm and lower leg. Michael Ragusa, Giuliani’s head of security, delivered these details and added that despite the circumstances, Giuliani is in good spirits and recovering tremendously.
Ragusa also affirmed the incident was not targeted. Giuliani was driving a rental car, and there was no indication that anyone was aware of his identity at the time of the accident.
Before the accident, Giuliani had been flagged down by a female victim of a domestic violence incident. Giuliani contacted the police on her behalf, Ragusa said, establishing that the subsequent crash was random and unrelated to this incident.

Despite requests for more details, neither another Giuliani spokesman, Ted Goodman, nor the New Hampshire State Police has responded. Giuliani’s son, Andrew, expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support and prayers for his father in a post on social media.
