Kentucky Republican Senate candidate Nate Morris has drawn a direct line between border security and the proliferation of socialist candidates across America, pointing to New York City’s mayoral race as evidence of what happens when immigration policy goes unchecked.
The facts here are straightforward and concerning. Recent polling shows socialist Democrat Zohran Mamdani commanding 62 percent support among foreign-born voters in New York City’s mayoral race, while former Governor Andrew Cuomo trails at 24 percent and Curtis Sliwa sits at 12 percent. Among native-born city voters, the numbers flip dramatically. Cuomo leads with 40 percent, Mamdani drops to 31 percent, and Sliwa climbs to 25 percent.
This is not coincidence. This is demographics determining political destiny.
Morris articulated what many conservatives understand but few politicians will say publicly. “Demographics is our destiny in this country,” he said. “The demographics that we bring in is going to determine the destiny of the country and where we end up.”
He is absolutely correct. “We’re going to have a litany of Mamdanis all over this country if we don’t get a hold of our border, continue to secure it, and send all of these illegals back,” Morris warned.
Morris has advocated for an immigration moratorium until all illegal aliens are deported, a position that prioritizes American workers over cheap labor and political manipulation. His analysis of the pro-mass migration coalition is particularly sharp because he identifies the cynical motivations on both sides of the aisle.
First, there are the Democrats. Their strategy is transparent. They are deliberately attempting to transform America’s demographic composition to create a permanent progressive majority. By flooding the country with illegal aliens, many from nations without democratic traditions, they are importing a voter base sympathetic to big government socialism. This is not conspiracy theory. This is observable political strategy.
Second, there are the Republicans In Name Only. These establishment figures support mass illegal immigration for purely economic reasons. They want cheap labor that undercuts American workers. They prioritize corporate profit margins over the ability of American citizens to earn fair wages and support their families. This is economic betrayal dressed up as free market principles.
Morris put it bluntly. “We are full as a country, we are overrun and we got American workers that are trying to compete against people that are breaking the law and working for an illegal wage that is 50 cents on the dollar and that is not fair.”
He is right on the economics and the principle. American workers should not have to compete against illegal aliens willing to work for half the prevailing wage. This is not just about immigration law. This is about basic fairness and economic opportunity for citizens.
The solution Morris proposes is clear. All illegal aliens must be deported, and immigration must be paused until the system is fixed. This is not radical. This is common sense.
The New York City mayoral race provides a preview of America’s future if current immigration policies continue. Foreign-born voters overwhelming support a socialist candidate while native-born voters are split. This pattern will repeat in city after city, state after state, until the political transformation is complete and irreversible.
The question facing America is simple. Will we secure our borders and prioritize American workers, or will we continue down a path that produces socialist majorities in major cities? Morris has chosen a side. The question is whether enough Americans will join him before it is too late.
