NFL Player Offers Alternative To Biden’s Unconstitutional Order

Former NFL player Marcellus Wiley has called for a transgender category for sports in response to President Biden’s executive order that allows biological males who identify as females to compete in girls’ sports teams.

The “Executive Order on Preventing and Combating Discrimination on the Basis of Gender Identity or Sexual Orientation” holds schools accountable for the loss of federal funding and administrative action if they do not abide by the Education Department. This was one among 40 executive orders that were signed by President Biden in his first 10 days in office.

“Children should be able to learn without worrying about whether they will be denied access to the restroom, the locker room, or school sports. Discrimination on the basis of gender identity or sexual orientation manifests differently for different individuals, and it often overlaps with other forms of prohibited discrimination, including discrimination on the basis of race or disability,” the order reads.

Wiley, who is also a sports television commentator, offered up an idea of creating a separate category for transgender athletes as a way of fixing President Biden’s order and forcing women to compete in sports against biological males.

“As a father of 3 daughters & the husband to a former collegiate athlete, this hits home in a special way. It’s time to create a separate transgender category in competition! Also think it’s time for me to start a podcast bcuz some things need to be discussed in detail,” Wiley tweeted.

While some agreed with Wiley’s call, others argued that this would just lead to even more sub-categories in sports. The discussion isn’t just a matter of fastness, but also with transgender athletes taking spots on a team, or a spot in competition, away from a female athlete. A biological male winning a women’s championship fills a valuable placement that could affect scholarship offers and the experience of victory.

Student Chelsea Mitchell, who had filed a lawsuit against the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference, told Fox News that she had lost out on numerous state championships and opportunities by competing against biological males in high school track.

Many parents had daughters who were working towards sports scholarships or building a stats portfolio for colleges, which could affect them athletically. They felt the Biden Administration had forced this order down their throats day one in office as a “do this or else face the consequences” act. For a party that “promotes unity,” they sure don’t do much of it.

Threatening to pull federal funding for those who do not comply with a clearly unconstitutional order is just another woke supremacy move from the radical left. Democrats are supposed to be the “party that follows science,” yet they declare a discrimination war on biology instead.
