Los Angeles Council Members Caught Bribing Registrar Workers & Using False Addresses To Win An Election

More election cases are coming to light and it’s as ‘rigged’ as you could imagine. According to the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office, six Compton City Council members were arrested for rigging votes in an election earlier this year. Two of the six, Isaac Galvan and Jace Dawson, were arrested and led into a courtroom in handcuffs, where they pleaded not guilty. The other four defendants have not been arrested or scheduled a court date yet. This includes Kimberly Chaouch, Toni Morris, Barry Reed, and Reginald Streeter.

The election fraud led to the victory of Council member Galvan’s win. He believed he “won” the election by just a single vote 855-854 over rival Andre Spice back in June. The plan was to have Chaouch, Morris, Reed, and Street, register to vote at Dawson’s Compton address, even though they all lived somewhere else.

Galvan even attempted to bribe a registrar employee on election night. He was charged with conspiracy to commit election fraud. There’s a reason Democrats don’t want enhanced security measures within elections and it’s not because of “voter suppression.” Galvin’s scandalous history has also been linked to receiving a “difficult-to-obtain” cannabis permit through his personal attorney and arranging a Compton City Hall job for his associate’s wife.

There’s a reason we look to improve voting security and incorporate mechanisms that make fraud easier to detect. That includes banning mail-in ballots, with the exception of armed forces and citizens living overseas, and requiring voter identification. Not to mention, states went through so many voting law changes throughout the pandemic that it’s hard to follow the millions of ballots that went out. Democrats took advantage of the opportunity to skip around the rules and have refused investigations left and right about it. That says a lot.

This is the second case within Los Angeles County where an election has attempted to be influenced. In Hawthorne County, nearly 8,000 ballots were sent to nonexistent or deceased people for a mayoral election. While none of the ballots were included in the tally for the election, it’s just another indicator of the major flaws in our election systems today.

“Elections are the cornerstone of our democratic nation. We must do everything in our power to protect the integrity of the electorate process and to ensure that elections are free and fair. The people of Los Angeles County expect and deserve a government that is free of political corruption at every level,” L.A. County District Attorney George Gascon said.

Many Republicans took the opportunity to highlight the article about the councilman’s criminal behavior and point out how the mainstream media refuses to investigate and report on these elections. “Not possible. The corrupt corporate media told me voter fraud doesn’t exist,” tweeted Sen. Ted Cruz.

Many Democrats are losing their case against stricter voting legislation. Texas Democrats left their job posts and abandoned legislative duties to those who elected them in order to travel to Washington D.C and perform like social justice warriors. They could barely pitch a meeting with any top lawmakers. Some Texas Dems went home early, others took an extended vacation, and most are just stomping their foot.

There’s a reason people are in favor of election integrity. Those who don’t, don’t have to participate in the electoral process. Without election integrity, council members will just keep bribing election workers and swapping addresses. Playing the political game to get the points and keep the power.
