Republicans Defeated By Eric Holder’s Nationwide Gerrymandering Plot

Eric Holder, former President Barack Obama’s attorney general, successfully blocked Republican state legislators’ redistricting strategies throughout the country by aggressively gerrymandering House districts via the court system.

Holder’s success can be attributed to his “sue-to-blue” strategy. This was implemented after Obama lost in the 2010 redistricting process, according to the Wall Street Journal. The holder is credited with helping to make the Republican legislatures less aggressive by developing the plan under the National Democratic Redistricting Committee that he established.

Holder allegedly used the court system to create state maps that were “gerrymandered” while accusing Republicans of geryymandering their path to victory.

Numerous federal and state judges intervened to redeploy maps in favor of Democrats.

Some state Republican parties are now pulling their punches. Many GOP state legislators this round were tired of being drawn into lengthy litigation and sick of being called Jim Crow. Courts might also choose to impose their maps.

However, that didn’t stop Democrats from litigating the maps and other GOP products, which pulled courts into fights in North Carolina (Ohio), Pennsylvania (and even Alabama).

Politico reported that approximately 75 congressional districts will be settled in the next few months in seven states as a result of the Democrats’ litigious strategy.

Politico stated that “all the court interventions have all eased Democratic fears regarding redistricting, as they sweat over a difficult midterm political climate.” “So far, the court decisions have validated the party’s state-by-state legal strategies and, critically, provided a surprising reprieve against several Republican gerrymandering efforts before a single election under the new lines.

Sean Patrick Maloney, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s chair (D-NY), said to Politico that Holder’s National Democratic Redistricting Committee deserves credit.

Take a look at the cooperation displayed by the DCCC, National Democratic Redistricting Committee (under Eric Holder’s leadership), and many of our allies. It’s been a team effort, and we’re in good shape. Although we don’t take anything for granted, we are doing a lot better than we thought.

Adam Kincaid, the executive director of The National Republican Redistricting Trust, said that Holder’s litigious approach was being challenged by Republicans. He stated that Republicans have failed to elect and appoint judges who will apply the law as it is written, rather than creating new laws.

Kincaid stated that Republicans should take the supreme State Supreme Court races very seriously. “We need conservative judges that will apply the laws as they are written, not liberal judges who will create new laws. There is no precedent for the events in these states.

While states wait for court decisions, Governor. Ron DeSantis (R), requested a preemptive ruling regarding his proposed redistricting maps to presumably avoid Democrat lawsuits.

DeSantis did so after the Republican-controlled legislature, led by establishment House Speaker Chris Sprowls (R) and president of the Florida Senate, Wilton Simpson (R), was hesitant to enact DeSantis’s map:

DeSantis stated Tuesday that he believes they will be able to get to a good place and produce a great product during Tuesday’s press conference regarding his request to the court. “We have to resolve a few legal issues.”

The GOP has suffered loss after loss in New York, Alabama, and Pennsylvania over the past weeks, so David Wasserman, senior editor at the Cook Political Report suggested Thursday.

The Democrats hold a lead of two to three seats in redistricting, where Republicans were expected the majority.

Establishment media has noticed how “weirdly” Democrats are doing in national redistricting battles. According to the New York Magazine, “[A]ccording at least one analyst there is actually an outside possibility that the final map might be tilted in favor of the Democrats,” they reported in December.

However, Republicans still have the momentum needed to defeat Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), five-seat majority in Congress. The approval rating of President Joe Biden is 33%. 29 House Democrats also announced that they will not be running for reelection. Pelosi’s chances to retain the House will be affected by the retirements.

If Republicans can retake the House or Senate, they will be able to fire Dr. Anthony Fauci and ban legislators from trading stocks, disintegrate Big Tech and impeach Biden.
