US Capitol Police Arrest Stephen Colbert Staffers At House Office Building, Charged With Illegal Entry

It was reported that a group of CBS Stephen Colbert staffers illegally entered an U.S. House of Representatives office building on Thursday night.

The committee removed the nine members of the group from the Jan. 6 hearing and they were taken into custody in the Longworth House Office Building. They didn’t have the right credentials to hold press conferences.

The same group returned to Capitol on Thursday night, after it was closed to public. Fox News reports that they took photos and video around the offices of Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) and Lauren Boebert R.Colo.

The staffers are the following:
Jake Plunkett
Allison Martinez
Tyrone Dean
Stephen Romond
Nicoletta Green
Brendan Hurley
Robert Smigel
Josh Comers
David Feldman

The group was arrested for illegal entry into House offices after hours. Additional files have been charged.
