Hunter Biden is believed to have ties to Charles McGonigal (ex-FBI official), who was recently arrested after receiving secret cash payments from an ex-Albandian intelligence officer.
According to U.S. prosecutions, McGonigal was the former FBI counterintelligence chief in New York. He received $225,000 from Agron Neza (an ex-albanic intelligence officer). McGonigal was later charged with taking the cash payment and meeting with Edi Rama, the Albanian Prime Minister, and helping a Russian oligarch to evade U.S. sanctions.
Agron Neza then introduced McGonigal, the former Albanian prime Minister’s advisor, to Dorian Ducka. Dorian Ducka was also a former member the Chinese energy company CEFC (CEFC China Energy Co), Miranda Devine of the New York Post reported.
Ducka’s connections to CEFC were linked in an Albanian media through a photo of Ducka with Ye Jianming (CEFC chairman), the same person who gifted Hunter a diamond valued at $80,000 in 2017.
Miranda Devine reported that Hunter and his business partners were having a conversation in an email thread found on Hunter’s laptop. It was about a person called “Dorian.”
Ducka is the name of a person with an unusual first name. This was revealed in Hunter’s laptop during an email conversation about CEFC between Hunter, Rob Walker and James Gilliar.
Gilliar, in an email dated May 13, 2017, wrote that “Dorian was a great help early on so it is worth considering how we include him.”
Hunter replies, “No way. We don’t do that.” “If majority says no, I’ll take it from my salary.”
McGonigal began investigations into 12 political opponents to the prime minister of Albania. This was according to Belind Kellici (a political opponent). These probes were apparently used to stop the prime minister’s opposition from doing business in the United States. They also debanked them from the U.S. bank system.
John Schindler, Washington Examiners, called McGonigals alleged illegal business dealings in Albania “a shakedown operation against wealthy Albanians to personal gain.”
Recent headlines have been made in Albania about McGonigal’s alleged corruption. Protestors called for the resignation of the Albanian prime Minister over McGonigal’s meetings. According to the New York Times, McConigal’s willingness for McGonigal to meet with him in Albania, where there is a diplomatic presence from America, indicates that he wasn’t keeping his involvement secret from his colleagues.
McGonigal’s indictment by U.S.prosecutors for his involvement in Albania in a “shakedown operations” has raised new questions about why the Albanians were allegedly paying McGonigal. Hunter’s emails from 2017 also mention payments to the adviser to the Albanian prime Minister.
2017 seems to have been a successful year for the Biden family. Ye, CEFC chairman, gave Hunter a $1 million retainer in 2017.
A 2017 email thread from Hunter shows that Hunter had proposed a percentage of equity distribution in a company created to be a joint venture with CEFC. Tony Bobulinski was Hunter’s former business partner. The Biden family and high-ranking Chinese Communist Party members were also included in the email thread.
The March 13th, 2017 email suggested a business venture that included “10 held by H” for President Joe Biden. Bobulinski confirmed that “the big man” was indeed referring to Joe Biden.
