Baldwin Sparks Online Frenzy with ‘Rust’ Wrap-Up Post, Provocative New Role Surprises

Alec Baldwin is a man who never knows when to stop talking.

He got into trouble on the Internet Wednesday with his comments about the completion of his film “Rust.”

Baldwin was charged with manslaughter for the shooting of Halyna on the set of the movie. Baldwin claimed that he was told the gun had been “cold”, and didn’t realize there was a bullet inside. The charges were dismissed later, but they could still be re-filed. Despite settling the Hutchins husband’s lawsuit, he still faces civil lawsuits.

Baldwin’s husband, who is an executive producer of the film, has now become a part of the team. After the original shooting in New Mexico, they moved production to Montana. He was pictured holding his gun incorrectly again. It was also creepy to see him filming a document about starting the movie over again.

Baldwin said that when he posted about the production’s end on Instagram, “it felt great to shave” his beard.

It’s not unusual for him to be tone-deaf. In the past, he has shown that when he talked about the shooting he focused on himself and his own feelings and not the victim and their family. Social media users were quick to criticize him for mentioning his beard. They also couldn’t believe they finished the film after what happened.

It wasn’t just Alec Baldwin who was the subject of bizarre news today.

Baldwin has also been offered a role in a film about the shootings at Kent State that took place in 1970. It is hard to imagine what someone was thinking who chose him to play the role of the National Guardsmen shooting four unarmed Kent State students. He will reportedly play Robert White, president of the school.

In December 2021, Baldwin stated in an interview with ABC News that his career could be over two months after Rust. “I asked myself, do I want to continue working after this tragedy? He said, “Is it worth it?” He also stated that he “cannot imagine” doing a film with “a gun in it ever again,” adding, “I can’t.”

As with most of Baldwin’s statements, I’m guessing that this declaration wasn’t very important, considering the film he just agreed to produce. He’ll accept money if they offer it to him, whether or not he has guns.

It’s a good thing they’re not putting weapons in his reach and have competent safety personnel to ensure he doesn’t get hurt.
