Bill Barr Rebukes Jamie Raskin, Debunks Democrat’s Claims About Biden Bribery

On Thursday, the Biden bribery controversy was big news. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) revealed what she said was in the FBI bribery report that the members of the House Oversight Committee received. The big takeaway from what MTG said was that Joe Biden allegedly got $5 million in exchange for actions he took when he was vice president, and his son Hunter got another $5 million.

Biden broke down after reporters pressed on the issue. He mocked the people with “Where’s Your Money?” Then he called it “malarkey.” He beat his podium, claiming to “be honest.”

What an amazing coincidence!

Democrats also deflect attention by dismissing the issue of bribery as “Rudy Giuliani’s debunked allegations”.

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) tried to accomplish this by claiming the Trump DOJ closed a probe into the bribery case under Barr and Brady. Bill Barr shot this down, saying the case was not closed, but that it had been sent to the U.S. Attorney in Delaware for an additional investigation. An anonymous source with firsthand knowledge of the bribery allegations brought up this issue.

Raskin claimed that the matter was related to Giuliani and that it had been closed by the Trump DOJ. The Democrats will use this as a “talking point” so that they don’t have to examine the truth.

Raskin said in public comments that the FBI had reviewed a document purporting to depict the bribery scheme. He said that he learned from this meeting that Barr had assigned the Pittsburgh federal prosecutor’s office to investigate the allegations.

Raskin said that Barr and Brady were “those who decided there wasn’t a basis for escalating this investigation up to the investigative prosecutions chain.” If a complaint is made, it should go to… the Trump Justice Department. ”

Bill Barr was the former Attorney General who led the Trump DOJ. He called Raskin, “confused”, another way of saying he was pushing bull cookies.

Barr said that Raskin did not seem to grasp the nature of the procedure. He said that the Pittsburgh office was being used as an intake process/clearinghouse and he shot down Raskin’s claim that it had to do with Giuliani as well.

Barr said, “We also wanted to protect the integrity” (of the ongoing investigations). The clearinghouse function was to screen evidence before sending it to ongoing investigations.

Barr disagreed that Raskin’s claim Giuliani played any role in FBI-1023 was true.

It’s material that the FBI, and Department of Homeland Security, developed using a secret source. “We checked it, and determined that it was not likely to be misinformation,” said he.

The information was given to Delaware to check out and follow up.

Barr was not kind to the Delaware investigation of Hunter Biden. “I believe that it is time to stop fishing or cutting bait and investigate exactly what happened.”

The DOJ will likely try to reduce minor charges, which only target Hunter and are easily proven. The issue of influence-peddling will not be addressed by this.
