Tragic Incident Unfolds in France as Footage Shows Asylum-Seeker Attacking Children

Unbelievable video from France, showing an asylum seeker allegedly from Syria stabbing children in a park as well as their caregivers has gone viral. The 31-year-old man is in custody and several of his victims are in serious condition.

Emmanuel Macron condemned the attack as “cowardice” and called it disturbing.

Police said that an attacker, armed with a knife, stabbed two adults and four children in a French mountain town on Thursday before being apprehended.

The police said that the children, who were as young as 3 years old, were all in serious condition. Two children and one adult were injured. Police said that two other children had been “slightly injured”.

In a tweet, President Emmanuel Macron stated that the suspect carried out an “attack of cowardice”, and said that those injured were in a “life or death” situation.

The man then runs up to children in strollers and stabs them. He also stabs 2 adults who are presumed to be caregivers (this was a supervised trip to a park). Onlookers are seen attempting to run away or dodge his advances.

In the past decade, France has seen a massive influx of refugees from the Middle East. Lax immigration laws have led to a number of violent acts. This latest attack illustrates how dangerous it is to assume that assimilation and vetting of those entering a country are not important.
