Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ spokesperson confirmed that he was involved in a car accident Tuesday while driving to a Chattanooga event.
Bryan Griffin, DeSantis’s press secretary, stated in a Fox News release that “this morning, Governor DeSantis was involved in an accident while driving to an event at Chattanooga.” “He and his staff were not injured.” “We thank the nation for their prayers and well wishes regarding his safety while on the campaign trail. ”

DeSantis remained in second place for the GOP primaries of 2024. Various polls also showed that DeSantis was preferred by Independents over Trump. DeSantis also did better than Trump against Biden in battleground states. He has resisted mainstream media narratives that his campaign is waning. He says he doesn’t care about polls, and that he’s playing the long game.
