You may wonder why CNN struggles to report the news. It’s possible that they are doing more than just reporting.
The network fired ex-CEO Jeff Zucker because of his relationship with a subordinate, former executive Vice President Allison Gollust. They lived and worked in the same building for 20 years before getting divorced. Gollust said their relationship began during COVID. Others, however, claimed it had been “an open secret” for a long time.
Their relationship was revealed in the middle of a legal battle between Chris Cuomo and his legal team over Cuomo being fired from the Network. Cuomo’s lawyers allegedly asked for all communications to be preserved between Zucker, Allison Gollust (the comms director), and Andrew Cuomo. Chris Cuomo was determined to obtain the remaining $18 million on his contract.
Now, Zucker’s latest news may have dampened that affair.
Zucker was seen holding hands with Alisyn, a married CNN anchor. The two were at Don Lemon’s Hamptons home for a party. Gollust attended the party.

According to the report, Gollust was left alone while Zucker and Camerota held hands. Zucker and Camerota returned about 40 minutes after the initial meeting before departing in separate cars.
A “source” close to the couple tried to minimize the significance of the handholding. Sources now claim that these new photos of Zucker and Camerota are nothing.
“Allison, Jeff, and their children have never been happier.” “He and Camerota would be meeting Allison for coffee,” said the source. It seems that Zucker, Gollust, and Camerota don’t talk. They did not return phone calls seeking comment about the situation.
Camerota hosts “CNN Tonight”. She is married to Tim Lewis who is a partner at a private equity company with whom she shares three children.
Zucker made a joke that raised eyebrows about CNN’s morning show host Camerota in June 2019.
He said that he was going to say ‘I love waking with you each morning’, but he actually meant ‘I love waking to you each morning’ when delivering his speech during the Mirror Awards, which Camerota had hosted in New York.
The book party was held at Lemon’s home for Sunny Hostin, host of “The View”, and Joy Behar attended. It must have been a huge gathering with so many liberal media members in one place.
It comes after speculation that Lemon, Gollust, and Zucker were seen in Italy with others in early July amid “rumors that they could be planning a bid to buy the embattled Network.” But who knows? CNN has lost all pretense of being objective since they fired former CEO, Chris Licht.
