Woke Military Loses the Confidence of Americans

The great Rush Limbaugh said a lot of things that are timeless in their truthfulness. When it came to the military, he said two things. Number one, the primary purpose of the military is to kill people and break things. Number two, the left despises the military; they view it as nothing more than a social experiment. But President Joe Biden has accomplished one more thing. According to a recent Gallup poll, Americans’ confidence in the U.S. military is the lowest it has been in two decades. The poll was conducted from June 1 through June 22, and those polled said they are less likely to express “a great deal” or “quite a lot” of confidence in America’s fighting men and women. This poll is the latest that has shown a decline in Americans’ confidence in the military.

It was 60 percent in 1997 and 58 percent immediately after Reagan that confidence was lowest.

The confidence level in the US military has fallen from 91 percent to 68 percent among Republicans. In the Independent community, the confidence level has dropped from 68 percent to 55 percent. Although the confidence levels of Democrats increased slightly when Joe Biden was elected President, they have since declined.

Americans’ lack of confidence in the Biden administration may be due to its efforts to turn the military into a “woke” social experiment. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, a military veteran, has been on the woke train from day one.

It is important to remember that the American military is made up of men and women who are willing to protect their country. This is why they join. They are not there to be told they are oppressed, that they are oppressors based on race, or that they should celebrate Pride Month. These people know we are facing grave threats, such as China, and this is why they join.
