Pelosi’s Hypocrisy on Impeachment Reaches a New High

Every time I write now about Rep. Nancy Pelosi, (D-CA), I think of how fortunate we are that she is no longer Speaker. I hope that everyone leaves in 2024 so that this is a permanent situation — giving Republicans the House win and preventing her from becoming speaker again.

Nancy Pelosi and Jen Psaki appeared on MSNBC on Monday. The fact that Psaki has a show now on MSNBC shows the close relationship between Democrats and the media. She’s one of many examples of the revolving doors where Democrat White House officials leave and then become liberal media pundits.

Pelosi discussed a wide range of topics. However, one comment that has gotten her a lot of flak is the one she made that was truly hypocritical. She attacked the House’s impeachment investigation into Joe Biden.

Pelosi said, “If you disagree with someone, you can’t impeach them.” She told Jen Psaki of MSNBC that this was a fake distraction.

Wait a minute, isn’t this the woman who led two ridiculous impeachment attempts against former president Donald Trump, one of which was about Trump asking Joe Biden about his corruption? You should impeach Trump because he asked about Biden’s corruption but not investigate or pursue Biden for that alleged corruption. She wants us to believe that. This is the perfect example of a two-tiered system of justice.

What a snarl! Democrats have turned impeachment into a political game for their enemies. The Russia collusion hoax was used to weaponize the government against the political opposition. They now object when real corruption questions are raised.

What did she say about the alleged corruption? She said, “A difference in opinion.”

Isn’t this a powerful statement? It’s not a difference of opinion when it comes to influence peddling or being compromised by foreign governments. We can tell that Democrats have “differences of opinion” about this by looking at the recent indictment against Sen. Robert Menendez, D-NJ. He was accused of acting as a spy for Egypt.

Pelosi then argued that it was “a fake distraction.” What she does not say is that Biden did it. Biden has far more evidence for his problematic behavior that could be used to impeach him than Trump. As we’ve reported, Biden has shown hypocrisy in the past when asked why House Speaker Kevin McCarthy didn’t vote on the impeachment question, given that she herself did not vote to open an inquiry. She called it “hogwash” when she was made aware of her hypocrisy.
